It was experiences like these that convinced Jose Silva that the mind could get information directly.

Even though he saw people getting information through reincarnation experiences, astral projection, card reading, crystal balls, pendulums, dowsing rods, astrology, numerology, Ouija boards, channelling, and so forth, he found that his subjects could get all the information they need in order to correct problems, by using mental projection.

Mr. Silva’s own children, and the other subjects he was working with, were getting information directly with their minds. They were working health cases, detecting information with the mind and then verifying that they were accurate.

Why, Mr. Silva wondered, go to all the trouble of using those other tools, and run the risk of making a mistake by incorrect interpretation, when you could obtain information directly with your mind, and then use that information to correct problems.

Take astrology for instance. There are a great many factors that enter into the calculations, many different aspects to consider in each case. You have to get all of those factors right. And you have to make your calculations correctly.

Even then, there is still some question as to whether the information is actually reliable.

Dr. Braud advises us that as of this time, there is limited scientific evidence to verify any of the claims of astrology.

He said that there is some research conducted in France that shows a correlation between the position of the planets when you are born, and the career you are likely to choose and how far you are likely to go in that career.

Several investigators decided to disprove that research, but instead ended up verifying it with their own investigations.

However, up until now scientific research has not been able to find valid correlations with the regular sun signs that most people are familiar with, or any other astrological claims.

Once again, you might wonder if ancient people were sitting around the camp fire, not yet ready to go to sleep, and began talking about those pinpoints of light in the sky. They did not know anything about planets and solar systems and galaxies and so forth. But those lights must mean something!

Perhaps they began to seek correlations between the positions of the lights in the sky, and what they could observe around them. That’s just the kind of thing the left brain hemisphere loves to work with.

While that might have seem interesting to primitive people who still didn’t know that the earth was round and that it revolved around the sun, it has not yet held up to modern scientific method.

Jose Silva feels it is easier and more reliable to learn to use your mind to detect information directly.
